A sand mill is a grinder that uses the impact and compression between grinding media and material to generate shear force, crushing and refining the material.

The sand mill adopts a wet grinding method, where a pre-dispersed and wetted solid-liquid mixed material, along with grinding media, is agitated by a high-speed rotating disperser. This process enhances the collision, compression, and shearing forces between solid particles and grinding media, effectively achieving fine particle grinding and the dispersion of agglomerates.
